Photographer
Visual Media and Content Production / Contract
Photographer joining the studio network on project contract for brand campaigns, product shoots, and editorial work. Toronto and GTA preferred.
House of Singh Studios is adding photographers to the capabilities network. We shoot across brand campaigns, product, lifestyle, editorial, and architectural subjects depending on the project.
We are looking for photographers with a strong portfolio, a defined visual point of view, and the technical craft to execute at a professional commercial level. You will be brought onto projects where your style fits the brief. Direction, mood boards, shot lists, and art direction are provided by the studio. Your role is to translate that direction into final imagery.
This is project contract work. Each engagement is scoped independently. There is no retainer and no first right of refusal. We maintain a network of photographers across different styles so we can match the right photographer to each project.
Toronto and GTA based photographers are preferred for shoot logistics. Photographers based elsewhere in Canada are considered for projects in their region.
(What you will do)
— Shoot brand campaigns, products, lifestyle, editorial, or architectural subjects per brief
— Collaborate with the creative director on visual direction and shot planning
— Deliver raw and edited files on the timeline agreed per project
— Manage your own gear, lighting, and studio or location logistics
— Provide selects and final edits in formats ready for client delivery
— Work within the studio's brand standards for consistency across campaigns
(What you bring)
— Five or more years of professional commercial photography experience
— Strong portfolio with a clear visual style
— Own gear including camera bodies, lenses, and lighting setup
— Proficiency in Capture One or Lightroom for editing and color workflow
— Experience working from a creative brief and delivering to a defined direction
— Professional conduct on set with clients, crews, and talent
— Valid work authorization in Canada for shoots based in the country

— Experience with video alongside stills
— Studio space access in Toronto or GTA
— Experience directing talent on set
— Retouching skills for post production delivery
— Past work with lifestyle brands, hospitality, food and beverage, or product companies
Senior Brand Designer
Brand Identity and Visual Design / Contract
Senior brand designer joining the studio network on project contract with first right of refusal on incoming brand identity work. Remote, open to Toronto, Canada wide, and global.
House of Singh Studios is building out a curated network of senior specialists who work with the studio on a project basis. This is one of those roles.
We are looking for a senior brand designer with ten or more years of practice to join the network. The work is brand identity systems for established businesses. Logo systems, typography, color, brand guidelines, packaging, and collateral. Projects are structured and scoped before they land on your desk. You come in at the creative execution layer and build the system.
This is not a full time salaried position. It is a specialist collaboration. You keep your own practice, your own clients, and your own schedule. When a brand identity project comes in that fits your skill set, we offer it to you first.
Work is remote. Toronto, Canada, and international candidates all considered. Timezone overlap with Toronto is helpful but not required.

— Build complete brand identity systems from strategy through delivery
— Design logo marks, typography systems, color systems, and brand guidelines
— Extend identity into packaging, collateral, and brand expressions across mediums
— Work directly with the creative director on concept direction and execution quality
— Maintain consistency and quality across every touchpoint within a project
— Deliver files and documentation ready for client handoff
(What you bring)
— Ten or more years of brand identity practice
— Strong portfolio showing identity systems built from the ground up, not just logos
— Proficiency across the Adobe suite and Figma
— Experience working with established businesses and mid market clients
— Ability to work independently with minimal oversight once direction is set
— Clear written and verbal communication
— Reliable availability during project windows

— Experience with packaging design and print production
— Motion or basic animation skills for brand expression
— Experience working inside AI assisted design workflows
— Past work in retail, hospitality, food and beverage, or lifestyle sectors
